The thread about the Star Trek movie reminded me of this fan-made "machinima" movie that came out last year. And its sequel which came out this week [Wink]

This is set in the EVE Online universe of "New Eden" and the 1st is supposedly a "day in the life" kind of movie about some down-n-out mercenaries. The 2nd is more of the same, but with a better script [Wink]

They're each close to 45 minutes, so you're looking at an hour and a half of your life, but I don't think you'll be sorry and wish you could get it back. . . . .

So anyway..... while there is a little bit of "EVE Jargon" in them, I've had people who don't play EVE watch them and they like them and understand them, so don't be put off.

FWIW, I think they're both hilarious! I'd like ot know what anyone/everyone else thinks.
