As a new security analyst for a government contractor, I am now required to travel. A lot. I started today and I'm already getting orders to fly out to Fort Riley in Kansas. So, if anyone here happens to be anywhere near Abilene Kansas between the 26th and June 12th, let me know. We'll do lunch (more likely on the weekend, since we have like four hours of driving each day for some reason).

I'm in Concordia, which is 1.5 hours away from Junction City. It's not unheard of for me to drive to Salina, but I'm not planning to be there until June 13th, for a race. Hmm...

It's easy to pile up the hours of driving around Kansas, but it's only 30 minutes from Junction City to Abilene, and they're connected by the ever-useful I-70. I guess I'm a little confused by why you'd drive for four hours a day...I can drive from J.C. to K.C. and back again in four hours.

Yeah. I was confused by the guy who talked to me. We're landing in KC, going to Abilene, and commuting to Fort Riley. Joy.

Staying in Abilene and commuting to Fort Riley won't be too bad. Like I said, it's only ~30 minutes. It's not exactly scenic, it's just typical Kansas countryside.

I don't have any plans for the weekend of May 30-31. Let me know what plans you develop for that weekend, and I might make a little road trip.

Hey Boris, would you be interested in meeting in Salina for lunch on Saturday? I don't know of any distinguished locations to eat in Junction City or Abilene. However, we could visit the Cozy Inn in Salina. It's rather historic, in it's own little way.

I fully intend to visit Bogeys, before I leave town. That place has the best deal on shakes, and the best variety of flavors and toppings for shakes. I haven't found a place in Kansas that can beat it.

Bumped for Boris.

Hey, sorry I missed you. I forgot that I got a random password reset when I changed my email address so I could communicate, but didn't set it up on this laptop or reset it to something memorable. Couldn't respond because I was also a dufus and didn't realize I could create a new account to get with you.

I figured something came up, so no big deal.

If you're in Salina over the next two weeks and feel like a shake, it's worth a little detour to drop by Bogeys. [Smile]
