I am wondering if there is something odd with my settings.

I just noticed that when I edit something, the timestamp is advanced ahead an hour with respect to the time posts are being made. The is, if I were to post at 8pm and immediately edit, the timestamp on the edit would be something like 9:10pm. And if I post a second message after that corrected one, the new message would be back on the earlier time track; e.g., something like 8:15pm.

Weird. Happening for anyone else? (just curious)

Editing timestamps are in a set timezone (same for everyone); post timestamps depend on your settings.

Ahhhhh ...

And now so very many things make sense.

the flip flopping time stamp is odd. I know you can edit the time adjustment setting in your profile, but why it would be correct for your post, but not your edit, is baffling.

rivka Knows Things. I think she's a little dangerous.

people should be warned about her before they come to Hatrack. Has she been added to the TOS yet?

It appears that the edit stamp is static, while the post time stamps are not. Someone who speaks programmer could tell you why/how that works.

We added her, but and hour later there was no rcord of it. Then Hatrack went down for an hour. Sine then we don't mention it (aloud).
