It was glowing underwater.

Hilarious story.

Links broken, I assume this article is what you are referring to.

I think instead of calling him Lord of the Ring, they should call him Deagol.

No, Deagal came to a bad end very soon after.

But you know, it is amazing how frequently I have experienced finding things immediately after I prayed for the Lord to help me find them; and I have heard the same thing from many other people.

Well, statistically speaking, you're much more likely to pray to find something before you find it than to pray to find something after you find it.

It's amazing how frequently I pray to God for help or advice or a sign, and don't get anything.

On two occasions I retrieved contact lenses from a public swimming pool after losing them while swimming. (Foolish me, wearing them to swim in.)

However, they were rigid gas perms, tinted blue, and dense enough to sink to the white cement bottom of the pool. Even still, it was a painstaking search.

It is amazing he found his ring at the bottom of Wellington harbor!

That's his story. I says he probably bought a replacement and took it with him on his dive. =)

Are you so sure? I would think many people would search within a certain minute range and then try praying, followed by more searching.

I think you misread what he wrote. How many times have you prayed to find something after you have already found it? It is similar to the "always find it in the last place I look" observation.

Of course anyone who frequently prays for help in finding stuff will frequently find stuff shortly after praying.

Ah, you are correct sir, I did misread.

I've frequently prayed to God for a Ferrari that I "lost" in a past life, and I gave yet to find it. I can only conclude that Ferraris don't actually exist.

I'm afraid I've got it, I was wondering why it kept trying to drive away on its own. Sleep easy knowing I hauled out the engine block and removed all four tires.

Also if it was a past life what year is the make?
