Well, I was capitalizing the first part of each word, also a word in and of itself. BackwardBlackbird. It looks like you're adding an extra 'b'.

Maybe if he tells us why he picked that particular name we'll be able to puzzle out a more appropriate shortening or nickname.

Welcome! I was just starting to get Blayne Bradley and BlackBlade straightened out. They have NOTHING in common other than those two capital Bs, but that's how my mind works!

Sure hope you will come back on and participate so that we know more about you than just your screen name.

Wow! I get a whole thread [Smile]

I'm a long time lurker who came to the forum after googling OSC to find more information, and I decided to actually get an account. I'm a junior in high school. The user name comes from a song by The Matches called "Wake the Sun" (available for your viewing pleasure on youtube). I love the alliteration, and I like the imagery that the song provides to describe this backward blackbird who stands out and thinks it can do anything (or at least that's how I interpreted the lyrics)...

I'm not sure what other information you'd like, but I'd be happy to answer any other questions if you have them. Thanks for the welcome!
