I know, that's the problem. I'm afraid that the next time I restart, avast is going to rip the guts out of my system.

When it says it's going to delete stuff at the next startup, is there any way to prevent it?

Gah!

I am such a luddite. I was imagining pirates and big wooden horses. Or condoms.

Avast just went through a messy break up and is really having problems trusting anyone right now.

WARNING: If you google "Avast Problem" the second link will bet you to a "theprogressfund" site. Don't go there. It is malware.
