The villain seems underwhelming to take on two Iron Men(?) + Johansen character(?), but otherwise it could be fun

Well, besides Whiplash (and I think that the bit we see of him in the trailer may be only showing him with a prototype; maybe he'll have a full-blown suit before the film's over) apparently there's that whole fleet of robots attacking Iron Man and War Machine at the end of the trailer. I think it'll all work out.
But yeah, the whole thing just looks like great fun to me. RDJ still being hilarious as Stark, fun tension still there with Pepper, bigger action, plus a ridiculously good-looking Scarlett Johansen. Sound like the perfect summer blockbuster to me.

Makes me curious as to wether Stark is aware of Rhodeys suit, how War Machine comes about has changed over and over but it would be a wedge in thier friendship if he confiscated a damaged and abandoned suit of Starks and modded it to be all out violent killing machine. Originally Stark made it for himself as a heftier more aggressive suit to fight stronger enemies but gave up on it, but let Rhodey use it because he didnt mind the wieght and vicious design.
It didnt seem like Rhodey was supposed to have it so we'll see.
