In one of the bedrooms in our house, my wife just found about half a dozen dead lady bugs mostly in the same area. She has seen a few more in the previous few weeks.

What gives?

Ladybugs will sometimes overwinter in people's houses

Rather like western conifer seed bugs.

An OSC book comes to mind... But that book is so sad.
