Sorry if this is the wrong section, new to the forums, long time Card fan. But I do have a quick question about Bean from the Enderverse.
Why exactly was this character killed off in such a way? I feel that in some respects Bean is a better character than Ender, and yet, he is simply cast out of the series with a intergalatic voyage we never hear anything about, what happened to bean? his children he brought with? Why did Card do this? with every other character it seems to fit when they die or leave the main spotlight, but with bean his story simply..ends. Can anyone share anything with me? shed any light on this? I feel that Card being the great writer that he is he wouldent simply kill off a character in such a convenient and quick way, sure we learn about one of his children in Ender in Exile, but what about him? a cure? anything? perhaps I missed something.
