My BF and I broke up, and I need to find a place to crash by the 1st of September. I have one potential job, but I won't know if I've gotten it until the 30th or 31st at the earliest, and it'll take me a bit to find a place of my own.

Alternatively, anyone used CouchSurfing.com before? Do they only take "world travelers?"

I'm 26, male, fun, non-smoking, no-drama, sane, art student!

CouchSurfing.com takes anyone. It's always better if you can get that verified profile...people tend to trust you more that way.

Also, Craigslist is another alternative for short-term housing. I stayed in Boulder, Colorado for two weeks hopping from one Craigslist find to another.

Good luck! And be careful.

I'm sorry, I can't seem to be able to process all those words in the same sentence. [Wink]

Browsing CouchSurfing.com for my own city... Why does it feel more like a dating site than it should?

Doesn't that verified profile require a permanent address? O.o

Nighthawk> Ok, maybe a bit crazy. [Big Grin] I dunno why, maybe you WANT it to be? >.o

Craigslist, huh, as long as it's not "houseboy" I'm good. [Big Grin]
