Seems like a win to me. Most people who run marathons don't do it to be the first across the line.

Amen to that. The fact that he was able to complete the marathon in the first place is a feat.

The dude was trapped underground for more than two months and just got out a couple of weeks ago... what exactly would you define as a win? You really expected him to finish first?

Ditto what everyone has said. Do most people enter marathons expecting to win? Isn't finishing the goal for most average citizens?
