Wow. That's really sad. I haven't read any of his books in probably five years, but for a while they were all I read. Sad day.

I can't begin to say how sad I was when I found this out. When I was little I was OBSESSED with the Redwall books! While all the other kids were reading Harry Potter and pretending to be wizards, I was reading the Redwall books and pretending to be a warrior badger, mouse or the other creatures from the books... (though the badgers were definitely my favorites).
It has been so long since I have read any of those books, but it is now my new reading goal for this year to read them all.
