"The Children of the Sky" will be a sequel to "A Fire Upon The Deep." I loved the latter book and its prequel "A Deepness in the Sky."

The two previous books were awesome - The best that Vinge has written, IMHO. I'm very much looking forward to this.

I'm a big fan of Fire, but didn't care for Deepness nearly as much.

Aw, I didn't know this was coming, and now I have to WAIT for four more months! That's going to be a long, long time. I loved those two books.

A Fire Upon The Deep is one of my all time favorite sci-fi novels. This is wonderful news.
