Have only two more episodes of Lost. Great series. Loved it. Now what should I watch? Any suggestions?

I love LOST to little tiny bits. Especially the last season (which makes me some kind of freak, apparently).

But it really depends what you've already seen. How about Fringe?

Doctor Who.

Do both of these have a continuing story line? That is what I'm really looking for.

Megatokyo.

If you actually liked the last season of Lost, I think you will probably enjoy the entirety of Battlestar Galactica (as opposed to the first two seasons, which most people like)

I also always look for reasons to plug Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

Doctor Who does have a long continuing story line. Much more the last two seasons than earlier.

Just to put it out there; I loved the last season of lost. Of course, that is without seeing the last two episodes, which I will be doing tonight.

Seconded. I think I would have loved this show as much as LOST if it had continued. Lots of mystery, continuing story lines, fabulous characters. But everyone needs to know going in that it ends on a cliffhanger - even though I actually adore the ending just the way it is. Did I mention I'm a freak?

If you're looking for something with a continuous narrative, I can't think of a finer show to watch than Breaking Bad.

If you haven't seen Carnivale, it's well worth watching. I found it appealing in much the same way that I found the first season of Lost appealing (I never watched the rest of Lost, I'm afraid). Be forewarned that while it was intended to be a six season show, HBO canned it after the second season, which ends in a cliffhanger. Despite the frustration that necessarily has to cause, I find the show worth watching.

I liked Carnivale a lot more on the second time through. The first time I felt like things had no direction or sense. The second time I think I picked up on a lot more. Probably helped that I watched things straight through instead of one episode a week with a break between seasons. (My memory is apparently not compatible with TV scheduling.)

If you haven't seen Fringe, start watching it. The first half of the first season is kind of lame, but then it gets ridiculously good. The story started out with a kind of "monster of the week" thing, but they changed that pretty quickly and it basically turned into a new version of Lost, with a continuous storyline and a lot of mysteries.

Very excellent show.

Thanks for the suggestions!
