Weta are adorable. They're big enough to be quite robust (I hate insects where bits fall off) and harmless - but apparently if they come in your house, you have to ask them to leave very politely, because you can't exactly catch them in a glass.

That is amazing. I don't think the exoskeleton system can scale to larger sizes, and I was recently wondering what the biggest insect is.
