A High School was hit...early reports from HAM radio operators are that the students are all okay. High school is in Limestone county in north Alabama

Severe weather warning just went off here. One advantage of having a windowless office about as close to the center of the building as you can get, no need to move.

Thanks to an infection, fever, and some strong medication, I slept through the entire thing (in the basement, of course). Woke up to lots of reports of destruction around me, but everyone safe here in my part of KY/IN.

It's pretty bad here, and I'm in Illinois. I can't imagine what it's like in the heart of things.
