After turning on my sprinklers for the first time this season, I unfortunately noticed that 16 out of the 24 sprinkler heads have developed leaks.
They are of the Hunter PGP variety.
Disclaimer: Yes, I did get the irrigation system blown out and winterized in the fall.
Thanks for any help, as this looks to be an expensive and frustrating problem.

Are they leaking at the seams? Have they split? Or are they leaking at the joint?

When the sprinkler head pops up, there are holes in the side of the cylinder.... kind of weird.

Hm. It's in the head itself? Do you know if you can get brass heads that'll screw into the fittings?

If I'm understanding correctly, it sounds like it's in the pop-up stems, not the heads. That's... weird. I have no clue what could have caused that other than ice or deliberate vandalism. What does the damage look like? Pinholes? Cracks?

In the stem would be a better way to put it.

That makes me wonder if the blowout service was really just too accurately described.

I have a rainbird system and my wife ran over a sprinkler head and broke it. It was a very easy and cheap fix a replacement head was under 2 bucks and took 20 seconds or so to replace. If the stem is broken or cracked its a bit more of a pain, but home depot has those as well. I think they are around 8 bucks. To replace all of them would get expensive, but cheaper than hiring someone to do it

Scifi, for real.
I ended up replacing all of the heads.... got them for 6 each. Took a whole days work outside.
