So after 10 years of service with NASA, I was laid off in August. This was due to Obama cancelling the Constellation Program. He's not my favorite guy. I got a job with GE Appliances in October and moved my family to Louisville, KY. All is going pretty well... except... my wife left in March. She took her daughter and moved back to Oklahoma. She left me the little girls (as a reminder, they're 8 & 9 now). Well, not so much left them as I refused to let them leave and she moved back. It seems pretty clear that she doesn't want them full time anyway.

Anyway, just wanted to give an update.

That really sucks brojack.

Hopefully you can take solace in getting a job in a bad economy, and still having your daughters with you, but that's certainly an unenviable situation.

That's tough, brojack. My year hasn't been the best either, hopefully the next one will be better!
