Did anyone else smile when Paul Ryan said he nicknamed his daughter Bean? [ROFL]

I thought it was cliche. It seems like everybody called their kid bean or peanut starting with first ultrasound.

I still call my brother horrible names that would violate TOS.

My daughter's nickname is Bean. It's a pretty obvious one for Jillian. We also call her Gee Bean, which might be more rare.

I called my first born the ravenous beast. Second born, we didn't want to get to attached until things looked good which wasn't until ultrasound 3 at 12 weeks. We did ultrasound 4 with gender at 18 weeks and them we started calling her by lily, which is what we named her. For the 6 weeks in between, we called her max because my older girl loved nax and ruby and wanted to name the baby max, boy or girl.

And then I was arrested.

My brother calls his daughter beans, or Magglebeans.

I call my daughter bump. Except the p is silent, which has caused some consternation.

Did anyone catch the Curt Cobain connection?
