I've slipped into lurking mode these past few months (Graduated law school, have a new job, got married - all good things!)
I just left the Maccabeats to start a new acapella group called StandFour. Things got crazy with the beats, traveling all over the world, and since a lot has gone on in my life, i thought it was time to slow down. Still, I wanted to have this creative outlet.
Very cool, man. Definitely a good vocal performance.

Great work! I'm not a huge fan of that song, though I really like the lead singer of Fun from his days in The Format.
Sorry things with the Maccabeats went to far too fast, it's a common development with groups. I hope your new project proves to be a suitable outlet, excellent work so far.

I enjoyed this quite a bit despite not much enjoying the song upon which this is based.

I see how it is. Facebook gets the announcement at 3, JMR has it by 5. We get it 7 hours later.
It's ok. I like it anyway.
Edit: And so does my youngest, although she's a bit confused.

Interesting.
I actually kind of like that it's a smaller group (and I see from the members that you raided some of the favorites from the Maccabeats for the new group). We get more of a chance to hear from you all individually as well as together. It was a nice remake of the song too.
Isn't there more to sing about than latkes and candles though?

Sure, dreidels.

I'll try to make it spin. It fell. I'll try again.

Lyrhawn, you have no idea how many drafts of lyrics we went through. I was with you - I wanted to get deep into the meaning of the holiday - but everyone else wanted a more toned down, universal, song.
I'm okay with the happy medium. There are some lines in there that are supposed to convey depth.
Rivka, haha, I'm sorry - Hatrack will be first to know next time.
