Arm firefighters. More, mount machine guns on their damn trucks. At least one firefighter per engine needs an RPG, because the only f*%#ing thing that can stop a 'bad guy' with a gun is a good guy with a gun.

Wait. It's probably too soon to visciously mock the most powerful political group in the discussion whose stance is 'no new regulations'. It would be...disrespectful.

NRA on the killings: see we told you firearms are necessary for home invasion. Now, if you will excuse us we need a week to, out of respect for the victims, come up with a justification that doesn't involve guns or any sort of regulation on guns.

Dan, I'm trying not to get to angry or aggressive reading your response, so I'll just ask directly: [I]who has suggested we 'make guns illegal', and that that will freaking solve everything?

If you don't want to be tarred with the brush meant for the NRA, perhaps you should sound a little less *exactly like them.*

Let's not anyone get ahead of ourselves by wondering if maybe, a man who did nearly 20 years for manslaughter, getting some guns and ambushing firefighters might not be cause to think we need to do something about the number of guns in our country.

If anyone does, reject them soundly with an argument about cars or something.
