Happy New Year, indeed!

I was a big fan of Train's cover of Imagine. Perfect start to a new year, if you ask me.

still 2012.

What are the movies like in 2013? Has The Last Guardian come out yet? Did the Lakers win the NBA title? Has the Winds of Winter come out yet?

I've been up for several hours today (it's 9am here) and I've wished a number of people a happy new year. But until I saw this thread title, I didn't even think about what that meant. It's 2013! Wow.

I love watching Kathy Griffin relentlessly try to embarrass Anderson Cooper.

I wrote a blog post about my New Year's resolution, which is to be less goal-oriented. Read if you like, here: http://jtspangler.com/new-years-day/

My New Year's resolution is to not read blogs, sorry.

Both I and the entirety of the rest of the world will continue to live exactly as we always have, despite that.

Do most people's resolutions effect the world at large?

Posted by El JT de Spang (Member # 7742) on :

Did I say they did?

Did I say that you said that?

I was only joshing with you, I -will- read your blog.

I was not joking with you -- you are welcome to not read it. Of course, if you read it you'll understand why I say that. [Smile]

Well, all in all I find your conclusion to be shaky. I'm sure there are people who live goal to goal, not ever resting or enjoying their successes, but it is a -huge- assumption that that is a common practice.

Or maybe it's just me who doesn't fall into that norm?

Also, it really matters -what- your goal is. If your goal is to take more time to live in the moment and enjoy life...

Oh, and very good song, I enjoyed it.

You are truly exceptional, it seems. So congrats!

Thanks! My mom always said people where mean because they were jealous, and now you have confirmed it!

That was sincere. But given how you normally interact it's not surprising you took it the way you did.

ETA: but thanks for being here today to remind me why I share none of my life with this website anymore. What a sad shell of itself this place remains. C'est la vie.

Um, your welcome?

Hard to take what you have said here any other way then snarky...sorry if my first comment offended, I just ment it as silly.
