Do you have to supplement cardio with weight training?

Incline walking. Burns as many (or almost) calories per session as running, but it's much easier on the knees.

As long as your incline walking sessions last 33% longer than your running ones. (If your walking speed is 4 mph and running speed 6 mph) Which is a fast walk and a slow run.

Really? What does the angle of incline have to be?

If you walk a mile at a 5% angle at 4 mph it will take you 15 minutes and you will burn 133 calories if you are 155 lbs. If you spend 10 minutes running a mile at 6 mph you will burn about 120 calories.
Change the weights around and the numbers will change. You can look up calorie calculators online, there are a slew of them for all kinds of activities.
Incline walking is a great option as long as you put in the time. You could probably lose some good weight if you worked yourself up to an hour a day and had a decent calorie intake. I've never tried it so I don't know how hard it is. I usually just run.
