No, they are not making an Elder Scrolls movie.

Anyone seen the trailer for the movie, Oblivion, which comes out in April?

I always get excited when it looks like we might get a decent sci-fi, but I am usually disappointed when it comes out (we need not mention Prometheus).

There aren't enough good sci-fi movies out there. But hey, Universal Says: “It’s one of the most beautiful scripts we’ve ever come across.”

i wish i could forget everything i knew about tom cruise when i am watching a movie starring tom cruise, so that "HAHA ITS TOM CRUISE AGAIN, REMEMBER THIS DUDE IS LEGIT INSANE IRL" isn't trolling my mind for the entire duration of the film

I think this movie would be a lot better if they'd have cast someone who wasn't a "movie star". Cruise's presence works great in a film like Jack Reacher where people are going to see "a Tom Cruise action movie", but not with something like this (unless of course the story isn't as great as they're saying).

I could be wrong, of course, but considering that stars like Tom Cruise have a tough time losing themselves in their roles, it'll be interesting to see if they can still tell a good story and get people invested.

Either way, I'll still watch it. The premise is interesting, though I'm hoping for a good twist. If it ends up being a "omg we're all just clones!" movie, I'll be very disappointed.

It looks interesting, but I have zero faith in it.

False. At least for me and I expect anyone who has read and enjoyed the Jack Reacher series of novels.

I wouldn't expect a high maintenance asshole to enjoy any Cruise movie.

I hope you weren't calling Scott a high maintenance asshole.

Does Sam read Jack Reacher?

Ooooh I get it.

He was applying that to anyone who enjoyed the Jack Reacher novels.

Woosh. Went right over my head.

I had a couple of skirmishes over that movie and I'm just being a dick.
