As someone who shares a name with a semi-famous (real) person, I always find it amusing when this happens. I work with a Michael Moore, and my sister once dated a guy named Will Ferrell.

One of my best friends from high school was Michael Moore. Still sounds weird to talk about the filmmaker.
I also once worked with a guy named Richard Wagner. I tried to make a joke about it, but he'd never heard of the composer before. What a waste of a namesake.
