Rakeesh, your "rediculous" example of relief efforts for PI is quite accurate, my command just verified our passports, shot records and physical readiness for that very mission; several of us are going to go there. I already have humanitarian service medals for Katrina and Haiti as well as a commendation for saving two drowning columbian kids @ Mombo beach Cartagena from a rip tide. I don't blame you for not believing I have Iraq and Afghan campain medals. Even I can't comprehend why my ship had to deal with the USS Cole and how we saved them from sinking by dewatering spaces full of body parts. My life is so full, it's unbelievable.

If true...why bother antagonizing this board?

You can save lives and still be a jerk, ya know?

I'm not so good at saving lives, I've witnessed more death, but I've been shot at a-plenty. After experiencing a situation where you absolutely believe you are going to die but end up living, perspective of the world changes. I no longer fear death, so biting my tongue in order to be PC is laughable. Is the Asperger Syndrome sufferer considered a jerk for being brutally honest? Was my toddler malicious for loudly said, "she's fat"? The truth hurts and I no longer care if the truth offends you.
