Any good apps out there that can streamline good books, films, food, etc from favorite authors, actors/directors/producers, chefs, etc.?

I have no idea what this question means. Are you looking for a content aggregator?

Something tells me you found this forum through a keyword search. [Smile]

Something tells me she'll be back soon to tell us about the awesome app she found.

Or else another new member will pop in and recommend one.

Any good apps for blood, bone and organ-filled people?

Posted by theamazeeaz (Member # 6970) on :

I recommend Blood, Bone and Butter by Gabrielle Hamilton.

Probably some of the best imagery I've ever seen in any book ever.

And I'm pretty sure the author is a sociopath. Did I mention it's an autobiography?

Sadly, it's not an app, but a book that you can get at a public library for free.

I would love an app that could stream food from my favorite chefs! Do I need a 3D printer to make the food or does the phone handle all of it?

I have one called Replicator, but it only does "tea, earl grey, hot."

What, no synth-ale?

You need one called "10 Forward" for that.

Sorry I was out of town for the holidays but I'm back! And no...I didn't do a keyword search not even sure I'd know how to do that.

I guess an easy way to put it is like one of those cuisine near you apps, plus a "What's Playing In Theaters" plus "What's New on the Bookshelves" that you can customize to start catching on to what you like (similar to what Netflix does to recommend movies). And no I have no app to recommend otherwise I wouldn't be asking lol.

PS: Mary and Faithe, welcome to Hatrack. [Hat] If you like, you are invited to tell us a little about yourselves.

This is a quirky place with a bit of a convoluted history. Many people found their way here through somewhat circuitous routes, and the community is generally quite accepting of people, regardless of what brought them here. [Smile]

Two new people in the same month?

Is there a full moon or something? Some sort of planetary alignment?

Wow, CT, I haven't seen you that scathingly sarcastic in a while. [Smile]

Tom, the followup was in good cheer!

Really, it was.

Oh, no! I killed the funny!
CT, why did you let me kill the funny?!

Posted by CT (Member # 8342) on :

The funny died a long time ago Tom. You just tased the zombie corpse.

Honestly? I really can't stand myself sometimes, that's all.
