It's that time again.....fantasy football time! We have had Hatrack league for years now, and it's free to play and a lot of fun.
I sent out invites to all of last years managers, but I wanted to see if anyone else wanted in this year. I know the site population isn't as high as it has been in previous years, but still...
The Blunts have joined the league. How does the draft work? This is the first time I've played fantasy football.

We did a live draft one year, but it was hard. Even with a live draft you can set a preferred list though.
The other, more likely option, is a regular draft, where you set your choices ranked by number, and then Yahoo gives you your team. Then you fix your shortages and weaknesses in free agency

I'd consider doing this again if we have a live draft. It's just too frustrating dealing with the results of auto-drafts.

Sorry -- simply don't have the time this time around, and I was frustrated enough by players who didn't play that I couldn't see myself doing the same thing.

There's that too. I was annoyed by the teams last year that weren't actively involved.

Live draft on Sunday maybe? And for those who can't make it, you can still set your draft list up and the computer will autodraft your next highest selection. We could start on week 2...
Otherwise I can't promise we will draft on time.

I'd love to, as interacting with you guys was great, but in all honesty, I think Fantasy Footyball sucks the enjoyment out of the game for me. I'd rather just be a Vikings fan this year. Sorry.

Guys...I think we may not have a league this year. I had family stuff this weekend, and we never drafted.
What do you want to do? Just try and get another team (I have) and tehn draft before Thursday? Or pass this year and maybe pick it up again next year?
I'd hate to not have it this year, but time seems to be an issue for me. What are your ideas?
