Fair warning, though -- the video is terrible. Really terrible. Not only is there no chemistry between the two main players at the end, but it feels as if two magnets of the same polarity are being physically forced together for swapping spit.
I'm pretty sure one of them killed the other one's dog. Great song, though.

I'm Ready by The Commodores. Songs don't always need lyrics, particularly funk.
Manhattan by Sara Bareilles. For when I feel like feeling sad. From what I understand, Ms. Bareilles wrote it when her desire to move to Manhattan to further her musical career was so strong she broke up with her boyfriend of 7 years, because he didn't want to leave LA. This song is written from his perspective. It crushes me.

Yuja Wang's inspired interpretation of Prokofiev's 2nd Piano Concerto. Conducted by Paavo Järvi (great conductor, I especially like his Ravel). Prokofiev wrote three, wonderful piano concertos. They're all very energetic and have high demands on the performer. The third is a bit whimsical and possibly my favorite, but the energy and verve of the 2nd is hard to beat.
