I'm hip. I keep up with the cool media blogs. How come nobody mentioned the greatness that is Galavant.
I turned on Netflix Friday, and found it in the "Recently Added" list. It looked interesting.
48 hours of light binging (2 seasons of 30 minute shows is all) and I am in love.
Imagine a cross between Game of Thrones, The Court Jester, and Princess Bride--perhaps with a bit of self-referential Glee thrown in--all in a 30 minute sitcom format,(And yes, they sing about being in a 30 minute sitcom format).
And the leader of the Singing Monks--Weird Al.
I never wanted so badly for a show to be rescued from cancellation, that I didn't know existed a week ago.

Galavant. Is. AMAZING!
I'm sad it's over. My room mate and I geeked out pretty hard over that show when it was one.
It's one of the most hilarious shows I've seen in awhile. And some of the songs were pretty damn catchy.
