So, universal health care is on the ballot.

The nuts and bolts are that payroll and all income will pay a flat 10% tax (Tricare and Medicare recipients are exempt), with 2/3 being paid by the employer and 1/3 by the employee.

As crazy as this sounds, my employer would be paying less for me under this plan, and I would be paying about the same.

As crazy as it sounds, why do we keep tying employers to insurance?

Also I'm sad I left Colorado before I could vote on this.

I've heard such wildly differing polls that I have no idea which way it's going to shake down. My health insurance company has donated $450,000 of my premiums to defeat it, how nice of them.
