Wow...How I managed to reach this number while staying in near-lurkerdom is really beyond me...wow. *grins* I hope I didn't fluff down the 'rack TOO much.

I was looking at my 2k post thread before I did this...wow. So much has changed in my life.

For one thing, I'm not nearly so prone to dark, deep despairs. *laughs* Good thing, as my friends/venting posts will tell you. Still go there...but I also get out quicker. Comes from having a greater control over that nasty little voice that tells you all the bad crap about you, methinks.

Not so alone, either...*grins* Discovered that you can have really good, true friends, even if you've never met them in person. Toretha, Advaru, Aka, BlackFox...all of you. Discovered you could also get a little beyond friendship, too. *laughs* Thank you, Toretha, for that first introduction...

I don't feel so stuck, either...freedom is coming up VERY fast it seems. Good, yet scary. Get my GED, go to college...or just GO. Somewhere out there...anywhere! *laughs* probably idealistic, yet...tempting. Note to self...get drivers liscence first.

Some things stay the same...still doing martial arts, though sidelined for the moment with a knee injury. Still spend inordinate amounts of time on the computer. Still bug the heck outta my parents, though more out of affection and intentional peskiness, now. Still selfconcious and annoyingly self-deprecating (or so I'm told). *grins* Some things never change.

Do you realize that you've got 3k from "semi-lurking" and I've only got nearly 4k from active posting, though I've been here a year longer?
