well, me and my friends are starting a writers guild at our school. We have been looking for workshops for teens in Georgia, or atleast not far away. If any of you have any information can you submit it to me?

Alpha, the SF/F/H Workshop for Young Writers is an eight-day, science fiction, fantasy and horror writing workshop for teens (ages 14-19). It will be held at the University of Pittsburgh, Greensburg Campus, from July 17-25.

Resident professional writers at Alpha will include Harry Turtledove, Wen Spencer, Tamora Pierce and Bruce Holland Rogers. Special presentations by authors Lawrence C. Connolly, Ann Cecil, Paul Pence, Robert L. Nansel, Diane Turnshek and Thomas Seay. Alpha application fee is $10.00. The workshop costs $500.00.
