in case you are unaware of this phenomonon, a gmail account is an email account from the popular search engine, google. it offers a rather advanced webmail interface, and it also has pop access now. saving the best for last, it comes with a whole gigabyte of space! yes, i said a GIG, that is one thousand megabytes, or 1 million kilobytes.
i am going to assume we all know just how many stories one can fit in that much space
anyways, i have 5 free gmail invites to give out. if anyone is interested, just leave me know... a first and last name would be useful as gmail likes for me to plug those into the invite, but i can make them up

It would be an excellent way to store your work--just emailing it to yourself. So far it doesn't have text formatting options so that's not cool but if you can stand life without bolds and italics then it's pretty handy--you could transfer your entire library of stories just by logging on your gmail on a different computer.

i just got a whole slew of invites. if ANYONE wants to try out gmail, i have more than enough invites to go around to a good many of the people here.

just bumping this up and leaving you all know that the offer is still open, the people who i gave invites to before should each have 50 invites as well to give away! we could get the entirety of the active members of the forum in one go i think!
