Anyone interested in a writer's forum that is oriented towards 'literary' works should check out: http://www.riverwalkjournal.org/blog/?page_id=42

River Walk Journal is a great venue for new writers in literary fiction, poetry and creative-nonfiction. They try to work with authors to improve their submissions to become publishable rather than to just select those already publishable.

I'm trying to help them get their forums restarted. Please go over there and help us breathe new life into that place. Feel free to mention me as a reference.

They might try getting a more exciting name. Even "Serenity" is more interesting sounding than "River Walk Journal". Apologies if it's one you thought of.

Well, River Walk Journal does fit their content a little better. Their essays/stories are intended to be contemplative rather than exciting, but I wouldn't say that many of them expressed a sense of "serenity".
