I will probably be told off for posting this as it's a little off topic.

I guess I'm yoda...

I'm Anakin. Oh well, I guess it's better than Jar Jar.

Posted by JeanneT (Member # 5709) on :

How could I possibly be Elrond? I don't have pointy ears!

Posted by RMatthewWare (Member # 4831) on :

Ha! I'm yoda.

I got Data. :

Oooh, cool! I'm Jean-Luc Picard. With more hair.

Posted by puppysnot (Member # 5217) on :

I am Worf. Looks like we've got enough for an away team.

My wife is Galadriel. Hmmm. Now I understand why I frustrate her so much. I apparently married... up.

"I am Spock"--probablly if I took this tommorow I'd be McCoy, then I could say, "I am not Spock".

Posted by Lord Darkstorm (Member # 1610) on :

So just who is Palpatine in Star Wars?

Oh, he turned into the emperor....well, could be worse people to be like.

Posted by Vanderbleek (Member # 6535) on :

Inigo Montoya...you killed my father, prepare to die.

He's actually one of my favorite characters though...

Mark up another Yoda for me.

Posted by Leigh (Member # 2901) on :

I'm James T. Kirk.

I find that really, really odd, but I did answer truthfully.

Call me Gandalf.

I'm Yoda??

Huh. Better get to work building that mud-hut in the swamp, then.

Yet another Yoda, it tells me.

"Not if anything to say about it I have."

I'm somebody I've never heard of from "Babylon 5." Maybe I should try again, 'cause there were a couple of questions I could've punched in two or more answers...

Posted by Robert Nowall (Member # 2764) on :

Second time around, it said I was the bald guy they call the Captain on "Star Trek: The Next Generation."

Posted by skadder (Member # 6757) on :

If you have a look there is a link to say how many people are the same character as you.

I was hugely disappointed that there was no Darth Vader--but then a desire to rule the universe with an iron fist didn't come up in the questions.

Shame.

Posted by NoTimeToThink (Member # 5174) on :

I came up Elrond.
I have been trying not to be Elrond for a few years now, so I changed 4 of my answers.
I am still Elrond...

Posted by Zero (Member # 3619) on :

Robert, that bald guy is one of the greatest and most respectable characters in all of fiction.

Posted by annepin (Member # 5952) on :

Princess Leia here...

Posted by hoptoad (Member # 2145) on :

there's a quiz?

here we go:
Vizzini

Hmm...I seem to be alone and to have gone a completely different direction. I'm Harry Potter.

spcpthook, you wrote:

That is funny, I have to admit that, lol.

I redid the test, I got Kosh from Babylon 5, apparently I'm a seer

Posted by kings_falcon (Member # 3261) on :

I'm Galadriel.

Leigh - Kosh is a good one too.

I'm Galadriel. I guess I'll have to go out and buy a dress.

I'm Aragorn. Funny there are so many Elronds here!

Lynda

I'm Aragorn--"If my life or death can protect you, I will". Huh?

I don't want to be Aragorn.

I am Spartacus!

Posted by wrenbird (Member # 3245) on :

Princess Leia.

You know, this test is REALLY accurate.

BTW mitchellworks " DUMBLEDORE!"

Posted by AstroStewart (Member # 2597) on :

I am Spock.

I sooo saw that coming.

Posted by Robert Nowall (Member # 2764) on :

I tried to give the wrong answers, and wound up as some guy named Magneto. If the picture they put up is any guide, it's really Gandalf without a beard.

Well, when I first met him, in "I, Claudius," he was not-so-nice and also had a full head of hair...

LOL, Robert. They were both played by the same actor in the movie version.

Aside from that, they are nearly as opposite as chacters can get, and still have a noble goal.

Posted by Zero (Member # 3619) on :

I think he knows that.

Posted by Rick Norwood (Member # 5604) on :

They claim I'm Jean-Luc Picard but really I'm Gary Seven.

I suspect from the number of duplications here that they only have at most a couple of dozen characters you can be.

Posted by skadder (Member # 6757) on :

Nope...this the spread.

http://www.tk421.net/character/stats.html

Error: Yup--a couple of dozen is about right. (Doh!)

I have tried to answer it the way I believe Agent Smith would, yet strangely I never got him. Weird.

Skadder, interesting, because seeing someone was Harry Potter, I tried to answer the way I thought HP would, and I got him.

Note to self: read some other fiction.

Posted by Zero (Member # 3619) on :

I tried the same with Captain Picard, by putting in the answers that best fit the character, and also got him,

There's a movie version?

Posted by TaleSpinner (Member # 5638) on :

I tried it too as Picard and got Picard. Then I tried again as Spock and got ... Picard.

Fascinating.
Pat

Posted by Zero (Member # 3619) on :

What would be interesting is if you knew somebody well enough who took the test, and say she got Dr. Crusher, or something, then you take it as if you were them and see if you get the same result they did.

Posted by Kirona (Member # 7125) on :

......I'm some dude from the Dragonlance series.

Raistlin Majere is the name.

I've never read any of those books, so I have NO idea what that says about me...there's an interesting picture though.

Posted by Kirona (Member # 7125) on :

...I tried to get Quark.

Instead I got Vizzini from 'The Princess Bride'.

Why does it seem so hard to get an evil person as a result? I pick the meanest answers, and still get good guys!

Posted by Robert Nowall (Member # 2764) on :

You guys know there's a statistics page with this, don't you? Apparently the overwhelming character-of-choice is Galadriel...

Oh, yeah, you guys do know. Someone mentioned it...

I tried to get an antagonist and got:

quote:

Palpatine
A mastermind of maneuvering surrounding forces, you care little for the concerns of those in your way.

Everything is proceeding as I have foreseen.

Tried again and got:

quote:

Lord Voldemort
A cunning and powerful force with strong convictions, you have no qualms about acting divisively when needed.

Avada Kedavra

How bad of answers could you actually have been picking. (I notice the antagonists are socialites)

Apparently I am Gandalf. . .wasn't expecting to be an old bearded man, but I won't say it isn't true.

Posted by Igwiz (Member # 6867) on :

Like many above, I'm Jean Luc Picard. Very similar to both my Meyers-Briggs and my Keirsey Temperment assessments. According to those evaluations, I'm an ENTJ, and a Guardian, respectively.

Posted by Zero (Member # 3619) on :

Hmm. Is Picard an ENTJ? Obviously he has J tendencies, like a need for scheduling, but he can act like a P when he lets huis principles override his orders, or the prime directive, etc. Like his decision to engage in a mutiny during the 9th film. That is "P" behavior. But I think he's an INTJ.

I'm Wesley Crusher?

While I have some respect for what Will Wheaton has done since then, I feel a bit insulted ... I think.
