I skimmed through the forum, and I'm not sure I understand the rules of the first thirteen challenge. Maybe the other newbies are as uncertain.

Basically, you go over the synopsis and create an intro for it. Thirteen lines of course. Then you email your entry to the mod posted on the weeks synopsis, and he/she will post it at the appropriate times. Then he/she will announce when submissions are closed and voting begins.

Interesting. I think I might sit this one out and watch.

You know, I submitted a couple of 13 liners when i was new here back in '04. Does that count?

(It wasn't the funnest experience for me back then. I do think the Hatrackers we have now are a bit more... gentle. Maybe I'll try again someday.)

Have fun!

But you don't have to sit it out and watch, you can go back and see the previous ones (there have been 13 already). Follow those through from synopsis to judging and see how they work, then give it a try.

The first one started in March:

http://www.hatrack.com/forums/writers/forum/Forum7/HTML/000020.html

and the entries were posted in a separate topic:

http://www.hatrack.com/forums/writers/forum/Forum7/HTML/000021.html

Then the second one started the next week:

http://www.hatrack.com/forums/writers/forum/Forum7/HTML/000022.html

and so on.
