My impression of RPG's is: you arm the projectile, point it, pull the trigger and it zooms out and goes and destroys something.
Okay, that's a personal goal for my writing, but maybe not everybody's.
Hand grenades were more personal, anyway.

Calvinball.
That I understand. Hines might as well have written his blog in Greek for all I know of RPGs. How many people here are gamers? Does it help in writing at all?

trust me, big game freak right here. aside from the occasional plot twist, gaming doesnt give any improvements to writing.
if it did, I would be filthy rich right now.

Linton Robinson's humor is most interesting. I hope I am never on the wrong end of Linton's literature, however.

I feel like deciding I'm a writer and the next day writing on par with L. Ron Hubbard is less likely than rolling two 20's in row. I played DnD for a few months. I saw massive critical hits. I've never seen anybody write amazingly without first learning how.
