I don't think it's a kindle killer but it could catch on... wonder if POD publishers will start doing them.

Looks like a gimmick to me, and not a particularly useful one. A paper 'kindle' that you have to keep open yourself. Why, when a normal book sits more naturally in the hand?

It looks as useful to me as a novel written on a giant scroll that I have to unwind to read -- i.e. not useful at all.

I've seen flip-books done that way. Water is a kindle killer, this is just silly.

My wife told me the other day to put the kindle in a ziploc bag if you want to read in the bath. I thought it was a great idea.
A waterproof flipbook? Now that's an idea. I think my infants have some, but they are quick reads.

If you read an e-reader while taking a bath its good that they don't have much power in them. Or you might come out with very frizzy hair.
But as to the books. I most probably won't buy any but evidently they are selling so there are people who want them. They look the size and shape of a some cell phones so it's what some people are used to. I would look one over if I see any but as I said they are not for me. Print size for one thing.

I have taken to tucking a book in my shirt. It can get pretty funny when I'm on some of the more bulky hardbacks.

I thought of this at work the other day but just realized I never posted it.
After a look at the pic of a flipbook. I wonder if it's for a full length book. Need to reread the article to see if it said but I think a shorter book would work better with them. So in other words it could be a market for novellas and novelettes.
