I had thought about entering that contest for two years but never did. NIIIce someone from here did and won.

Of course mine wouldn't have gone as far so it's really good you did enter.

Thanks all, I hadn't seen this thread before now. I appreciate the well-wishing. The story will be coming out in an e-anthology later this summer. I like it a lot, and hope others will too.
