I saw that on Duotrope. Three days for an acceptance. Congrats!
Now, if only they would give me a response on the story they've had for almost two months ...
Posted by skadder (Member # 6757) on :
No. It was a 56 day sub. They wanted a couple of changes--just minor stuff--and asked me to re-sub. So I stuck it on Duotrope as a re-write request (it took half an hour and mostly involved changing the suit's names from colours to function).

Congrats.

I see. Thank you for the clarification, Skadder. That tricky Duotrope system tripped me up. And congrats again.

Hmmm, good thing I checked I forget to place my Congrats here.
Niiice,
Think I will send them a story or three, which is all the space opera stories I have under 4,000 words.

I only had one, but it worked for me!
I sent it because fellow WOTF winner, Jordan Lapp, told me that Every Day Fiction had revived Ray Gun Revival and that Mike Resnick had sold them a bunch of stories--sharing a TOC with him wouldn't be bad...
So sub to them, yes.

I sent in one already. Even though I wasn't sure about that contract they had up to click on...no one else I have seen has one.
Posted by skadder (Member # 6757) on :
EveryDayFiction have being running a long time and do exactly the same. I agree, I prefer to look at the contract after the story has been accepted, but the reality for me is that is for very little money and the story was one I thought I'd never sell (not because it was bad!).
