Interested in a critique of more than first 13 lines of 37,000 word novella. No big surprises but a different slant.

If you don't want to post the first 13 lines, how about a synopsis, so potential critiquers will have a better idea of what they may be getting themselves into if they volunteer?

I am interested in feedback on a story about Joseph and his second wife Mary and their seven children. Five sons, Joseph, Simon, Jesus, James, and Jude, and two daughters Assia and Lydia, have the usual sibling rivalries, especially when two families are merged. They are a prominent family in their small town of Nazareth where Joseph serves on the local Sanhedrin.

In a fit of jealousy son James leaves the family home to establish himself in Jerusalem. Subsequent events disclose that Jesus is the Messiah promised to the Children of Israel by the God of Abraham and the entire family has to grapple with whether or not to believe.
