She slipped away last night in her sleep.

Though I was exposed to science fiction quite young, I came to love it after reading her books. I think the first one I read was STAR RANGERS (aka LAST PLANET) which I found in my junior high school library.

She was a great influence on my writing.

What more can I say than that she will be missed?

I am saddened. Her books were some of my earlier loves.

I am saddened as well. Her books (Witch World, particularly) introduced me to fantasy and SF and I haven't look back since.
