Oooh, can we talk about Rama Revealed then? Anyone have the first 13 handy? I read this recently and did enjoy it, but I'd like to talk about the narrative voice, the (heavy) description, the MICE quotient (I was pretty sure it's a milieu story, but maybe an idea/event one. Definitely not a character one, which sets it apart from much fiction today which seems more character-driven.) etc.

But I don't need to hijack his birthday card. Here's to many more years, Mr. Clarke!
