I finally finished redoing the timeline and outline for Book Two (working Title, Seven Brothers), which used to be books two and three. And reorganized the material I can still use into the new framework. Now, with that foundation, I can go ahead and actually start writing new material again. Yippee! The down side is that it's looking like this book might end up a little long--around 130K.
In fact, I now have an embarrassment of riches of things to work on.
The first novel, The Shaman's Curse, is cooling off so I can go back and hopefully put the final polish on it when I finish Book Two
I'm in the middle, more or less, of Book Two
I have a short story to play with, extracted from three chapters in the middle of Book One. This one can't turn to mush on me. There's no way.
And, I just started the first 1000 words of a third novel, in a completely different milieu. This one is based on combining the concepts from two failed (went to mush) short stories.
Just call me a glutton for punishment. Looks like I can keep busy, any way.

I was kind of hoping the first novel would be titled "Seven Brides for".

I think that one's been done before. It's just a working title. Hopefully, I'll come up with something better. The second book was the Ignored Prophecy, which I like better. But, with the two books combined, I'm not sure that really applies to the overall plot.
