After trying artistically talented friends who are more in the market to be friends than to knuckle down and do business... I'd do it myself, but my photoshopping computer is not speaking to me right now and its version is almost a decade old.
I'm looking for someone who can make a good cover for an epub in the $35-50 range. Is this crazy? Is there someone you would recommend?

I have never personally designed a cover but I would be willing to give a crack at it, being something that I have wanted to try. I would do it for free if you wouldn't mind spending some time with me on it.

I'd be glad of the offer, though I would want to keep cultivating a couple others who have offered. If you're email's current I'll send you what I have so far.
I'm on my final edit, so I probably had 2-3 weeks until I'll be ready for the cover.
