Cool! Is it that poem you sent me? The one I . . . never got back to you about? *shuffles foot bashfully* sorry about that. I really did like it, though. Congrats on getting it published.

What was the pay rate if you don't mind me asking. I have been hawking about some poems which they all say are great, '..but doesn't quite tempt me enough..'. is the usual response.

Flat rate of $20 USD. So, in my case (LONG poem), that comes out to 5.5 cents a word. However, Duotrope considers Professional rates for Poetry at $50 and above per piece, so this is only a Semi-Pro sale.
However, for this magazine, there's a catch. This publication also requires submission of a piece of artwork (drawing, painting, photograph) that compliments the piece. And for the most part, they're Literary in nature. Not sure they're as interested in SF/F/H. Check it out, though, at http://www.thewriterseye.com
If you have something appropriate for them, I encourage you to submit.
