That's right... my story, inspired by a contest at Hatrack (and third place winner!), is going to be published! I'm thrilled; even though this is a very silly story, it's one of my favorites.
I'm not sure when exactly it will be appearing online, but it will be both online and in an anthology in August.
So huge thanks to deb and IB for inspiring and arranging this contest, and for everyone who reviewed and voted for my story.

Congratulations! Awesome! I have to work on my Apocalyptic Taco Mix story and see what can be salvaged of it for submission somewhere. Wouldn't it be great to see an anthology of those stories? That was a lot of fun. Posts: 1911 | Registered: Mar 2007

KayTi, I remeber that I loved your story. So, once you dust it off, I'd be happy to read it again.
It would definitely be awesome to see an anthology of apocalyptic taco stories. I had so much fun with that contest! One of us should think up another trigger to write on in that same vein. Pancakes of the Future?

Congratulations! Man, I'm so disappointed I missed out on the Tacos of the Apocalypse triggers. Someone make an equally odd, and creative challenge! I demand it!
I'll have to take a look at it when its published.
