For anyone who doesn't like clicking on links without knowing where they're supposed to go--

The first link is for an advertisement called "New Short Story Writing Contest with $1,000 Prize by David Farland and East India Press".

The second is for the James White Award. The winner gets £200 (equivalent to $300, maybe?) and publication in the British science fiction magazine Interzone.
