Am I truly that self-centered?

Probably.

So, I received my Kindle, like, days ago, and mentioned something about it and this Grist mill, but no one bit, so I've decided to fish somewhere else.

I'm buying five e-books, one from each of the first five unique posters who link directly to their book.

Rules:

$.99 - $2.99 only.
One link per person.
Amazon.com

Anyone?

Axe

Wow.
That's like a courtesan offering freebies, Dustin.
Aren't you more selective?
...I mean in which books you choose to read? [Wink]

Sorry I haven't (yet) gone the e-pub route to participate in your de-Kindling.
But enjoy. I love mine.

Respectfully,
Dr. Bob

Well, when TWO ZOMBIES comes out in Stupefying Stories, I'm planning to figure out some sort of e-giveway.

We have a winner!

One down, four to go.

I loved the troll story. This is a great first book to buy.

Dr.Bob - Just paying it forward.
I would want others to do the same for me.

Axeminister, I'm amazed! You started this post almost 4 months ago, and there's only ONE writer here with an eBook for you?
I'll throw my hat in the ring. Unfortunately (for you), I only have short stories out there - I'll have a collection at the beginning of July, but that'd be over your limit.
Here's the link for 'A Dish Best Served' ($1.99): http://www.amazon.com/dp/B007NXBTLQ

NTTT, I think I started another thread where I caught another fish, but yeah, only two.

I shall buy your book!

(See how easy that was?)

Then again, who would click on Axeminster as the subject, started by some dude named Axeminister, in the Markets For Our Writing category?

Made perfect sense when I posted it.

Oh, wait, I'm in the Grist Mill section too.

I'm a ninja.
I'm a clone.
I'm a clone of a ninja!

Greetings, Axe!

I present you with a link! http://www.smashwords.com/books/view/112310

Of, if you don't like Smashwords, you could use this link!
http://www.amazon.com/Moon-Lantern-ebook/dp/B006SS0AIA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1339696272&sr=8-1&keywords=moon+lantern

It's a short story (very), so if that doesn't fit your reading needs, feel free to ignore. Also, there's some adult-ish content, so if that bugs you, also feel free to ignore!

This was my first published story, in Abyss & Apex. Since I had my rights back, I went ahead and epublished it.

I am now the proud owner of... your story.

I just submitted to A & A, so this will be extra good reading for me.

Nice first sale!

I hope you enjoy it!

For what it's worth, if memory serves, the sale was in 2004, so I can't speak to whether it reflects the market currently. It sure did make me a happy camper, though. I got the email around midnight, while everyone else in the house was asleep, so I did a happy dance in the closet. Didn't want to wake up the kidlet!

I have a story but it's $4.99 and since you've specifically put a price limit, all I can do is sit and watch.

By the way, here's the link, in case you change your mind.

Martin,
That sounds awesome.
I may buy it outside my little freebie bonanza here, but not yet. I so go over my spending limit all the time.

PDBlake - more trolls?

I have one more purchase coming to the next qualified entrant here or in Grist.

Then I'm kaput and have to get my read on.

What can I say? In between novels I write shorts about trolls. They're nice trolls, well apart from the habits:)
